The Dance Week 3- November 12, 2023 - Glenn Barteau

Today was all about how to change the dynamic within romantic relationships and read through passages in Song of Songs. When we get into a dance that neglects to value connection, how do we move back toward one another? There are two practical ways to step into intentional connection. 1) Be available. When you need each other, be there for each other. 2) Be responsive. Respond in a different way that values the other person. These two steps together will help move us toward connection, which is the foundational support of relationships.

We also discovered how we are uniquely positioned as a church in reaching our wider community, and why we’ve chosen to highlight certain dynamics of a relationship with God. How does that set us apart and what is our collective focus moving forward? How can you sustain what we're doing here at Casas?

Called To Be - Week Three - September 24, 2023 - Seth Kreimeyer-Kelly

We’ve been exploring a core passage from 1 Peter 2:9 throughout this series. In this final week, the focus was on why worship is imperative to our spiritual journey. The priests in the Old Testament knew what it meant to worship. Since, as believers, we are declared to be a part of that same priesthood, we can take away three important things to implement about worship from 2 Chronicles 5:11-14. 1) Some moments are worth pausing for 2) Priests knew how to make some noise 3) Priests knew the power of worshipping together. Remember, your engagement in worship is being shared with those around you. Don’t underestimate the power of that unified spirit engaging with God and focusing on Him.
